Crocheted and Felted Flower Brooches

Below are several crocheted and felted flower brooches that I made and gave this year for Christmas gifts. I use wool yarn and begin by choosing colors that remind me of the recipient. I then crochet the flower, sew in the ends, felt it, then add embellishments and a pin back. I thought these would be a good entry for the GIFT category for my Whiplash entry.

Welcome

Welcome to my first attempt at a blog. I chose the name "Bricolage" since it means a work constructed from various materials available or on hand. Since I am influenced and inspired by things I find on hand everyday, I thought it an appropriate name for my blog.
