12 Most Weird Body Implants

A major theme of Australian performance artist Stelarc is the concept that the human body is obsolete. As such, his past artwork included hanging himself on a flesh hook suspension, attaching electrodes that control his body and then connecting the control to the Internet so those who logged on can move his muscles at will, and saving his liposuctioned fat for an exhibition. Now, he's on to modifying the human body, starting with a lab-grown ear implanted on his forearm!
Alex Finch acquired these Pokémon balls subdermal implants. According to him, he has been a fan of the Pokémon videogame and anime franchise since he was in third or fourth grade, and that he chose to get six Poké Ball tattoos in reference to the number of Poké Balls which can be carried in the original videogames. He also noted that the tattoos shown are “just the beginning” as he plans to get additional tattoos of videogames, cartoons, and anime icons on the rest of the arm, including more Poké Balls.
A curious new trend in body modification is implanting magnet in a finger. Apparently, this gives the "implantee" a new sense of being able to "feel" electromagnetic fields. According to Huffman, the magnet works by moving very slightly, or with a noticeable oscillation, in response to EM fields. This stimulates the somatosensory receptors in the fingertip, the same nerves that are responsible for perceiving pressure, temperature and pain. Huffman and other recipients found they could locate electric stovetops and motors, and pick out live electrical cables. Appliance cords in the United States give off a 60-Hz field, a sensation with which Huffman has become intimately familiar. "It is a light, rapid buzz," he says.

For a man to have a boob job is unusual enough - let alone to have the silicone implants not in the chest, but in the leg. Lane Jensen's figure is now looking a little more voluptuous in an odd place after one of the most unusual operations of the year.

Lane, a devotee of body art already, had a tattoo of a buxom lady on his shin. But for some reason, he decided this was not quite expressive enough - so had silicone implanted to make the etching stand out in all the right places. Canadian Lane, editor of a body art and tattoo magazine, even sat up to watch most of the operation carried out in Edmonton, Alberta. Brian Decker, owner of the firm Pure Body Arts, carried out the strange surgery which lasted just 45 minutes - and left Lane feeling nothing more than "a small bruise", but delighted with his new breasts.
Bagels are a delicious breakfast treat that can be enjoyed anytime. Not only are they delicious but they have that particular shape. The thick ring has now even been an inspiration to extreme body modifications, particularly subdermal implants. The implants are made from saline injected under the skins, thus classifying them as subdermal implants. They could also be saline injected into bags and placed under skin in desired implants. They can be in various sizes and there can be multiple “bagels” on a person.

Braille tattoos are a new innovation that allows the blind to enjoy body modifications too.

Klara Jirkova, a student at the University of Arts in Berlin, came up with an innovation to modify the body to allow the blind feel those artistic statements through their sense of touch. Braille tattoos now let the entire world experience the eclectic pieces of art you may choose to put in your skin.

The raised bumps that make up these braille tattoos consist of implants under the skin, and could include individual beads or a small tablet of embossed text. The beads can be relatively small, but not as small as standard braille text as the body's muscles would absorb them too deep to touch.

Strange Gilpin Family Whisky Made from Refined Diabetic Urine

Gilpin Family Whisky If you are a diabetes patient “sweet urine” can be used to make whisky!

A London-based designer James Gilpin, made “Gilpin Family Whisky” using the high-sugar urine produced by elderly diabetes patients, including the urine of his grandmother

James Gilpin, who is also a diabetes patient, filters the high-sugar urine using the same processes used to purify water, removing the sugars in the process, which are then used in the fermentation stages.

If you are thinking to buy this exclusive “pee whisky,” too bad because Gilpin is not planning to market it commercially; it’s more of an art project for him.

So, what you can do now is to use your high-sugar urine to produce some special and luxury whisky to serve your guests when they visit you. I believe they will love it and thank you so much…but “No, Thanks!” from me.

9 Strangest Looking Cat Breeds

1. American Curl

At first glance this cat may not seem that unusual but in reality this cat is very unique. His ears curl backward and down which only occurs in this breed of cat. But for a perfect breed the ears can only curl so far, if they curl so much that they touch the skull they are disqualified from shows. This breed was begun in the 1980s but has already gained quite a bit of popularity.
2. Scottish Fold

This is another cat that is considered to be very unique because of its ears. This cat’s ears do not grow very much from the time the cat is a kitten and they never stand up, rather they fold down at about three weeks of age. This cat is perhaps one of this most adorable that you will ever see because they keep their small ears which makes them look like a kitten throughout their entire life.
3. Ocicats

This unique breed of cat is actually prized because it looks so much like the endangered Ocelot. This cat was the result of an attempt to breed Abyssinians, Siamese, and domestic short-hairs together. The first Ocicat was white with numerous spots but others have earned the orange coloring that gives them appearance that is even closer to that of the Ocelot. A great thing about Ocicats is that their owners have often equated them to dogs for their train-ability and temperament. If you want a dog but want the lower responsibility of a cat, then the Ocicat may be just what you are looking for.
4. Norwegian Forest Cat

This unique cat has very long fur which is designed to make it last through the freezing cold winters of Norway. These cats actually accompanied the Vikings as they sailed around the world. They are very loyal to their owners but they need lots of interaction because they are excellent hunters.
5. Manx

This cat is very unique because of two reasons. The first is that this furry cat has absolutely no tail. The second is that this cat’s back legs are longer than its front legs which means that it has a very unusual walk that a some people say resembles a bunny hop. Many people like this cat for its unique character and the fact that it has such a strange walk. The Manx is also a relatively small cat and can come in just about any color combination.
6. Munchkin

This adorable cat is truly unique in that is has very short little legs. These cats were first observed in the 1940s but then they disappeared after the war. They reappeared after two munchkin cats were found in the 1980s and they were bred. Despite their short legs these cats can do everything that normal cats can.
7. Cornish Rex

If you like the look of the Spinx but would rather have a cat with at least a little fur, then the Cornish Rex might be for you. This cat has short curly fur that really makes it unique among cats and they are popular among people who suffer from allergies because they lack the hair that is present on most cats. This is a relatively new breed of cats as they were created from the genetic mutation of a litter of cats in the 1950s.
8. The Sphinx

This strange cat is perhaps one of the most popular among strange cat breeds because this particular cat has made an appearance in a few movies as the pet of evil villains. The reason for that is pretty clear because this cat can definitely look evil if it wanted to. But if you want a cat that is so ugly it’s cute the Sphinx is for you.
9. Devon Rex

This cat looks very similar to the Cornish Rex but they have no genetic relation. They have soft down fur that is very curly. They are also known for their very large low-set ears and very large eyes. This unique cat is very adorable and is a far cry from the appearance of a regular short-haired cat. Another unique attribute about this cat is that they loved to sit perched on their owner’s shoulder just like parrot. They are also very playful and friendly cats.
